The seminar will be interactive where all participants are encouraged to share ideas on techniques and solutions to the environmental challenges we face every time we head out into the wilderness. Experts will be brought to the seminar to help us sort out fact and fiction and bring to our attention the many environmental issues now facing our wilderness. An Eco-Camp will be set-up outside which will be used as a backdrop to open discussion on varies topics such as campfire practice, Kitchen techniques, campsite selection etc. Participants will break into small groups and tour the Eco-Camp and share ideas. At the end of the seminar we hope to present all the great ideas collected and later post them on the ORCKA web site.
The event is open to all ORCKA members and the general public.
