Paddler Magazine Announces Redesign |

Paddlesport Publishing Inc., publisher of Paddler, Paddle Dealer and Kayak
magazines, announces a total magazine redesign beginning with Paddler's
March/April 2007 issue.
Based on customer feedback, Paddler's
award-winning team of editors and designers have redesigned the magazine to add
visual appeal, improve readability and ease of use, and optimize readers'
magazine experience.
The redesign follows the magazine's move from
Colorado to Kirkland, Washington in December 2006 along with a change in
management. The March/April issue is the first produced entirely by Paddler's
new creative team.
Paddler publisher Glen Bernard states, "We are
listening to our readers and advertisers and are taking measures to improve
their magazine. We have a very talented team of passionate paddlers and
publishing pros who have taken the first step with the March/April issue.
March/April is the first of a series of fresh, new-look Paddler
magazines. We have also updated a number of the sections inside and added some
brand new columns of high reader interest based feedback from our 2007 reader
survey."
Beyond the obvious upgrades and new look, Bernard adds, "We are
delivering well written stories that will appeal to a broad range of paddlers
and outdoor enthusiasts. We also want to get people stoked about getting out
there and spending more time on the water with friends, family or solo,
regardless of whether they use a paddle or an oar, or paddle with one blade or
two. Ultimately, we want to deliver the most highly regarded paddlesports media
that creates high reader satisfaction levels and provides advertisers with the
most conducive advertising environment for their branding and sales
messaging."
Paddler Magazine is the Official Magazine of the American
Canoe Association. Published bi-monthly (6 issues per year), more than 50,000
copies are distributed to ACA members, subscribers, newsstands and paddling
events throughout the country.
